Inspired by the beauty and cultural significance of the Rotuman tefui, this design was created to honour the spirit, identity, and heritage of Rotuma.

Traditionally worn during ceremonies, celebrations, weddings, and cultural gatherings, the tefui is a highly fragrant, star-shaped garland that represents love, respect, identity, and connection to ancestry within Rotuman culture.

Inspired by the distinctive star-like form of the tefui flower bundles, this Islandise interpretation reimagines those elements into a soft, elegant pattern intended to bring meaning into everyday life.

Featuring warm yellow-to-orange tones inspired by island warmth and tropical sunsets, this ceramic mug was designed to celebrate Rotuman culture in a modern and meaningful way.
